It was an ok show for summer '76. Jerry, Keith & Donna were pretty together after a great run with the side band. Happiness is drumming is on Diga

rhythm band. We didn't have the best location, but I'll UL the master someday...

Great show all around. The High Time is phenomenal, Donna really adds to this song, so thats rare and very nice. Everyone's playing is strong and Jerry's
...
vocal are awesome, a must listen for sure. The MNS is pretty good, not amazing but above average i would say. The Eyes is also stellar, it has a nice strong 6 minute jam to start it off and doesn't die at all during the song. Then there's the Happiness is drumming or Fire on the mountain jam, it sounds really sweet, its just a nice little look into the dead IMO. So i'd say focus on the High Time, happiness jam and Eyes.

Phil had three fretless basses that were given to him by the Guild company in '68. He didn't really like them but they became the lab rats for Alembic's

Wow, this is a great show! I don't think I've ever heard it before. Love the mid 70's Dancin' treatment with the downward spiral jazzy treatment as was typical of the period. It gets a solid four, the mix and sound quality could be better.

I don't think Phil ever played a fretless in this era and those killer slides are just made on the fretted. There is a good discussion here on this topic

if anyone is interested.
